Ellie's Holiday Report - Sun/Mon

On Sunday we did more riding activities. On Monday we did lots of riding games and all of the riders were presented with rosettes and certificates to show how well we had done.

The other riders from my Saturday group who came were:

*Alex P who rode Ben

*Alex B who rode Dudley

*Howard who rode Big Charlie

*Sabrina who rode George

*Miles who rode Sunny

Each day we had to do lots of tasks to care for our ponies like:

* Bringing them into the indoor school from the fields

* Grooming and cleaning them before each ride

* Putting the tack on including the bridle and saddle

* Taking the tack off after the rides had finished

*Taking the ponies back to the fields and unclipping them for the night

*Taking the tack to the Tackroom and cleaning it with special polishes

Clywd Special Riding School is a very special place run by special people and every one of us had a wonderful time.

The brilliant helpers were: Mary, Clair, Anna, David, Debbie, Nikki, Arwen and Dave.

Ro was our chief instructor and made sure we did things right.

A big thank you to Alison who did an amazing job organising the whole thing.

We were even lucky enough to have our very own chef in hand; Joy, and we also had live music provided by Anita, John and George.

It was fab, hope we can go again next year!
