Ellie's Holiday Report -Fri/Sat

On Friday, me, Dad, Debbie (one of the helpers) and Teddy along with two other riders and helpers set off on a long trail ride along a track that ran around the nearby countryside.

During our ride we had to spot animals that had been painted onto stones and then had been placed along the track. As soon as we spotted an animal we had to make the right noises for that animal. Riding on the track wasn't as easy as Wales is a hilly place and we had to hold on tight whenever we went up or down one.

In the afternoon, after a very yummy lunch it was time for me to have another riding lesson on Teddy in the indoor school. When we ride indoors we have a go at synchronised riding and we have to steer our ponies in and out of markers.

Also we stop, give way and we also get to trot which is really exciting, although my riding hat kept falling down over my eyes when I did it. The next three days flashed by with me riding Teddy out on trail once a day and also having a lesson in the riding school.

On Saturday night we had a fantastic disco with Sabrina (one of the riders) singing.  more
