How to help

Volunteers are needed to help in our group. There are plenty of jobs to be done and without people like you RDA would not exist.

We require at least one helper per rider plus a group instructor

Helpers assist the rider according to their needs and experience and lead the rider if required. Riders love the helpers as much as the horses.

Helpers also tack up the horses prior to the sessions.

We provide training for all new members allowing them to become a confident member of the team.

How to help

Helpers must be at least 14 years old

An interest in horses is not essential but it would be useful.

If you are doing The Duke Of Edinburgh award, you may consider becoming a helper as part of your service.

You can help make a difference by giving your time.
